Operator and policy scope

GuruPro is a platform operated by ISUN EDTECH PRIVATE LIMITED. This policy explains the review and recorded resolution process that applies to relevant GuruPro tuition, billing, and refund-review workflows.

GuruPro refers to the platform and brand. ISUN EDTECH PRIVATE LIMITED is the legal operator responsible for administering this policy through the platform, subject to applicable law.

How refund review works

A parent can request a refund review or report undelivered classes for their own active tuition or relevant billing record. The request is recorded for authorised review. Eligibility, supporting service-delivery information, and the appropriate outcome are assessed before any decision is recorded.

Submitting a request, or seeing a status in the application, does not itself issue a refund.

Examples that may qualify for review

Eligibility requires verification. Depending on the agreed tuition arrangement and service-delivery record, examples may include:

  • A tutor cancels a scheduled class and no replacement class is delivered.
  • A tutor fails to attend or deliver a scheduled class.
  • Prepaid tuition ends with future paid classes remaining undelivered.
  • A scheduled class is verified as undelivered and is not subsequently rescheduled or delivered.
  • A duplicate or incorrect payment accounted for through the platform.

Cases that are not automatically refundable

The following do not automatically become an undelivered-class refund. They may still be considered through the relevant support process where appropriate:

  • A class that was actually delivered.
  • Parent or student absence.
  • A class that was rescheduled and later delivered.
  • Voluntary discontinuation after services already delivered.
  • Dissatisfaction with a completed class without a verified undelivered service.

Amount, adjustment, and settlement

Where an amount is approved, it is determined proportionately using the agreed tuition arrangement and verified service-delivery record. The approved amount is reviewed and recorded by an authorised administrator; the platform does not invent an automatic per-class formula where an authoritative delivery record is unavailable.

An outcome may be a monetary refund, a billing adjustment or credit adjustment, rejection, cancellation, or another recorded resolution appropriate to the reviewed case. Bank or payment-provider settlement time can vary after a manual refund is initiated.

Manual refund execution only

Approved monetary refunds are initiated manually by an authorised administrator through the applicable bank or payment-provider website. The application records the case status, approved amount where applicable, the safe transaction or provider reference, and the completion date. It does not call a Cashfree refund API, bank refund API, UPI refund API, or another automatic money-transfer API.

Payments made directly to a tutor

For payments accounted for or collected through the platform, the platform can review and record refund eligibility. Where a payment was made directly to a tutor, the platform may assist with resolution, but it cannot itself reverse a payment it did not process.

Cancellations, rescheduling, and getting help

Demo cancellation or rescheduling follows the demo workflow and availability rules; it is not an automatic payment refund. For a refund-review question, use the relevant parent billing or active-tuition area when available, email support@gurupro.in, or contact support through the Contact page.
